History of Minster Dental Care

The foundation that is Minster Dental Care began in 1976 by Dr. James Overman. Our humble beginnings started on South Hanover Street, Minster, in an office that is now occupied by the Crescent Motel. We then moved on to Eagle Drive in 1979. Additional growth of our practice paved the way in 2004 when construction was completed at our current location on State Route 66.

This state-of-the-art facility was expanded even further in December of 2017, growing to nearly 13,000 square feet and housing 21 operatories. Our founder, Dr. James Overman, fully retired in 2024, after nearly 50 years of dedicated service. Following the principals laid forth by him, our current owners, Dr. James Meiring, Dr. Shawn Sharp, and Dr. Phillip Slonkosky, along with associates Dr. Heather Woehrmyer, Dr. Justin Hoying and Dr. Lauren Grieshop, strive to continue to ensure the highest quality dental care available for this community.
