Justin M. Hoying, DDS
Growing up in Fort Loramie and being a former patient, Dr. Hoying was excited to return home to join the team at Minster Dental Care. Following graduation from Capital University in 2014, Dr. Hoying attended the Ohio State University College of Dentistry and graduated in 2018. He continued his education by completing a 1-year Advanced Education in General Dentistry in 2019 at Fort Benning, GA
Throughout dental school Dr. Hoying served as a 2nd Lieutenant in the U.S. Army Reserves. In 2018 he re-commissioned as a Captain and then served on Active Duty until June 2022. Dr. Hoying’s duty locations included Fort Sam Houston, TX, Fort Benning, GA, and Fort Leonard Wood, MO where he treated soldiers as a general dentist.
Professionally, Dr. Hoying is a member of the American Dental Association. He enjoys all aspects of general dentistry, but has received additional advanced education in oral surgery and endodontics.
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Hoying loves sports and the outdoors. His college baseball days have given way to playing slow pitch softball, basketball, and golf. He helps coach the 5th and 6th grade boys’ basketball teams at Fort Loramie. Additionally, he enjoys spending his time fishing during the spring, and bow hunting during the fall.
Dr. Hoying and his wife Lauren, reside in Fort Loramie with their two children, Frank and Molly.
