Philip W. Slonkosky, DMD / MS

Growing up in Minster, Dr. Slonkosky was excited to return to join the team and Minster Dental Care as their in-house Pediatric Dental Specialist. After graduating from the University of Notre Dame, Dr. Philip attended the University of Louisville School of Dentistry, followed by a two-year Pediatric Dentistry Residency at the University of Kentucky. During his pediatric training, he began training in orthodontics and has continued his education since that time.

Dr. Slonkosky is a specialist in Pediatric Dentistry and a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. He is also a fellow in the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. Patients and parents commonly refer to him as ‘Dr. Philip’ as his last name has always been a mouthful.

Having the opportunity to practice at Minster Dental Care with a team of talented general dentists has allowed Dr. Philip to advance the science and practice of pediatric dentistry in new and exciting ways. He continues to research and explore the latest materials and science surrounding the practice of both dentistry and medicine in general. Dr. Slonkosky seeks to understand the root cause of all health problems, and follows an integrative approach to dentistry. Dr. Slonkosky lectures across the U.S. on topics related to pediatric dentistry, and business. In 2018 he co-founded a company called Integrative Health Supplements with his brother and friends.
